About a Ladakh trip
Ladakh is a high-altitude desert of monasteries, turquoise lakes and some of the world's highest motorable passes. Leh is the base for Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake.
Leh sits at about 3,500 m, so the first 1–2 days must be kept for rest and acclimatisation before going higher.
